Oh man. I’m not going to lie…it’s going to be hard for me to get motivated today. It’s the first Monday of 2013 AND my first Monday back in the office since the holidays. Luckily, I have a meeting in Richmond this afternoon, so I won’t have to try to stay on task at my desk for too long:)
Some randomness to get the week started:
OUR CHRISTMAS TREE IS STILL UP. I think this is a record for me! Usually we take it down the day after or a few days after Christmas, but this year I just wasn’t ready to let go of Christmas…so it’s still up! I think we will take it down this week though because I hate to be one of those people that keeps their tree up until Easter or Memorial day or something…ha!
Such a sad/bittersweet football day in our household yesterday…I was really happy the Ravens advanced forward to the next round of the playoffs, but it was definitely a little bit sad to watch Ray Lewis play his last home game! It also sucked that the Redskins lost…but they have so much to be proud of, and next year is going to be even better for them.
Today is my first day without soda…from now on I can only drink soda on Sundays and I can only have a soda then if I met my water drinking goal for the rest of the week. We’ll see how this goes! I hope I can stick to it! Wish me luck:)
This Saturday was my first wedding of the year. I was so excited because I had been looking to it for a while!!! Becca and Matt were the first couple to book me for 2013, so it feels like I’ve been waiting for their wedding for forever! It was such an amazing day and I am SO PUMPED to share it with you guys…it was so elegant and pretty! Becca has amazing taste:)
Also, I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but these random Monday posts have become a thing over the last few months…so I am really excited to have a name for them now!! Anyone else have a case of the Mondays today??

We finally just took our tree down yesterday. Then we were immediately sad it was gone! That’s a gorgeous photo to begin the week with though!! Can’t wait to see more 🙂

Good luck with your soda fast! I have been trying to cut back as well. When you get sick of plain old water, it helps to use the little single serving Crystal Light packets made for a bottle of water, or to drink flavored sparkling water which gives you the feeling of drinking soda.
