I am really excited about this new month…July is actually my “month off” (I’ll still be working, I just don’t have any weddings) and it’s also my birthday month! I’m turning 25 for the second time ;). John and I have a lot of fun things planned for our July weekends so that we can make the most of our precious time off. I can’t wait to wrap up my last June weddings and then get some quality office time to revamp a few things and get myself organized for the busy fall season!

On Saturday, I shot Rica and Ian’s wedding at the Yacht Club at Marina Shores! I feel like I had been waiting for this wedding for SO LONG. I first met Rica and Ian back in January or February of 2013 and then shot their engagement session last Fall. Back when they booked, June 2013 seemed so far away, but it finally arrived and so did their beautiful wedding!

Sunday was a quiet day for us. We woke up late, went to Cracker Barrel in sweatpants (okay, it was just me wearing sweatpants), and then caught a movie that afternoon. In our quest to cram as much fun things into the summer as possible, I forgot how nice it is to just relax all day! After being out of town two weekends in a row shooting weddings and traveling up and down the east coast it actually felt weird to come home Saturday night and then relax on Sunday!

So, that’s about it for me today! I am going to be out of the office the rest of the day. I’m heading to Richmond to meet some potential clients at one of my favorite RVA restaurants and then getting together with a couple of friends to do something for a secret project in the works:) What do you guys have going on today?
