Today feels a little bit like a new beginning! It’s my first “official” workday since returning from the amazing retreat I was lucky enough to be a part of last week and its also the beginning of another attempt at living a “healthy lifestyle”. One of the awesome parts of the retreat was the vacation like feel…and I don’t know about you guys, but when I go on vacation I eat! And drink. And then eat some more. I need a detox diet right now like no other!

I spent a lot of Saturday catching up on returning emails, editing, and a few random office tasks. This was great though because it gave me a chance to sit down and catch up on our new addiction…Orange is the New Black! Have you guys seen it?? Such a great series. Netflix has really been bringing their A game when it comes to their original series!

Sunday we caught brunch at a favorite spot with friends and then headed up to Hume, Virginia for Nicole and Joey’s engagement session! We met them for a glass of wine before the session and just hung out a little bit. It was so nice to spend a little time with them before we started shooting, I might have to make that more of a regular thing! Most of my clients live 2-3+ hours away, so the engagement time is usually the first time we’ve had the chance to meet!

Also, I am SO EXCITED to share an announcement with you all today!! A few of my amazing and talented friends and I are putting on a workshop! I’m so excited that they asked me to be a part of such an amazing group! Together we have so much to offer and share and can’t wait for this to come together!
