A Case of the Mondays #34

I woke up this morning feeling a little bit more relaxed than I have over the past couple of weeks…why is that? I think maybe partly it had to do with the fact that it was cloudy (no bright sun streaming in through the curtains waking me up really early), but mostly it was the fact that our wedding this weekend was in Richmond, so we didn’t have to use Sunday to travel home from a wedding far away! Waking up in our own bed Sunday morning was such a treat! We went to brunch (a meal I believe is necessary and is my equivalent to a religious service), I got a random Starbucks drink (I never drink coffee!), and then we finished off the final season of 24. It was a good day!

Speaking of 24, I am so depressed it’s over. The thing about watching a series on Netflix? The entire thing is so readily available to you that you get so absorbed in it. 24 has seriously taken DAYS of my life to watch. I feel like I was there for so many ups and downs with Jack Bauer and now it’s just…over! I am really happy that they’re bringing it back next year for a mini 12 hour season, but I’m not sure how I will survive having to hang on to the edge of my seat week after week! Netflix has spoiled me!

Saturday’s wedding was such a beautiful day! Chrissy and Davis both radiated so much joy! They are such a great couple and so much fun to be around, so naturally, their wedding was a lot of fun as well:) I LOVE Richmond weddings. We’re trying to start a campaign to get John’s job to move there so we can too:) Haha.

Here’s a little peek from Saturday! I am so excited to share more! I know I say that a lot, but it’s always true!

That’s about it for me this Monday! What did you guys get into over the weekend? Anyone have anything exciting planned for this Monday morning? I’m going to head out on my long run in a few…if you want to track my training progress and help keep my accountable, I’m using hashtag #kneezyrunsahalf on Instagram!

Have a great week, everyone!

yeah when traveling a lot, doing destinations weddings I really appreciate to do one back at home in Stockholm. Been on the road / on a plane for the last 4 weekends and this weekend I had a local wedding so I could wake up in my bed. So I truly get it!! Nice for you & I do second the brunch thing, hahaha!
