Happy President’s Day! What are you giving your friends and family to celebrate?? Just kidding:) I don’t think anyone really celebrates President’s Day…at least I don’t know anyone who does….do you? Maybe I’ll treat myself to a milkshake or some Fish McBites today…not that I really need an excuse lol.

Yesterday I got to eat NUTELLA GELATO from the Mill on MacArthur in Richmond. I did not make that up! I had no idea such a thing existed, but the fact that it does makes me feel like the world is a better place! Also, if you live in Richmond and you haven’t tried the Mill on MacArthur, you totally should! We also ate black bean and corn patties with cilantro sour cream and grilled cheese with caramelized onions and tomatoes. So good. I wish we lived closer to more places like this!

Speaking of cool food places, WHOLE FOODS IS COMING TO MY TOWN. And I seriously never thought that would happen because I don’t know if you’ve ever been to or heard about Newport News, but it’s nickname is “bad news”. And we just recently opened TWO MORE Walmarts, bringing the total in a 20 mile or so radius to FIVE. Yes. Five. And the People of Walmart go to them on the regular. We also call one of the walmarts “Club Walmart”. I hope that makes my point. ANYWAY, now that people are going to be finding my blog by googling “Walmart” and “People of Walmart” I guess I can move on…basically we never thought Whole Foods would come to our town and we are so excited! I love their hot food bar so much. And I love random specialty food items and stuff like that. Apparently the WF doesn’t open until 2015, but at least I know it’s coming!

We also were out in Alexandria this weekend to shoot Sarah and Bill’s engagement session! It was freeeeezing cold but Sarah and Bill never complained once and did so well! They were totally professional about it and so much fun to hang out with! I can’t wait to share more from their session this weekend!
