Fall wedding season has arrived again and we’re getting back into the swing of things pretty quickly around here! I can’t tell you how sad I am that the summer is over…it’s not that I love hot weather, but I really prefer it SO much more than cold, winter weather. Fall to me is just a reminder that all good things come to an end…so you can totally see why I’m not completely gung ho about the season change like everybody else is. And, it would probably help me like Fall more if I was into pumpkin, but I’m not. At least there’s football, though! I drafted John’s Fantasy team for him this year since  he couldn’t be there and I feel like I deserve a cut of his winnings if/when the team wins 😉
This weekend we photographed Mary Kate and Todd’s wedding at the American Pharmacists’ Association in DC, which is one of my new favorite venues! I loved the rooftop deck and the views were spectacular!
Sunday, after brunch (can you say corn pancakes with jalapeño butter??) and football we met up with Callen and Brian for their engagement session in Old Town Alexandria. I realized that I’ve only ever photographed there in the winter before, which is crazy since I’ve done 4-5 sessions in the area!
Anyway, I’m off to get to work and hopefully get out and enjoy some of this beautiful weather! You’ve got to make the most of it while it lasts, right? Hope you all have a good week!
Such pretty preview!
