It feels almost surreal that this is my first official day back in the office in 2016! It’s been a little while since I’ve had the chance to sit down and work at my desk, what with our Hawaii trip and then the Christmas holidays, but I’m excited to get to work! This will be a busy week for me playing catch up on emails, consultations with a few newly engaged couples, putting together a few things for our existing 2016 clients, and starting to prepare things for tax season. That last thing…not that exciting, but you gotta do, what you gotta do when you own a business. Am I right?

Although this is my first office day of 2016, we kicked off the new year for the business in a big way on Saturday celebrating Callen and Brian’s wedding with them at the Crystal City Westin! After what felt like weeks and weeks of clouds and rain, the sun shone all day Saturday. It was so perfect!
