We get to photograph at lots of beautiful rustic venues including plantations, vineyards, etc on a pretty regular basis, but we shot something a little more modern this weekend and I loved it! Rae and Jon’s wedding ceremony was on the rooftop terrace at the Artisphere in Rosslyn. It was perfect! Between shooting in New York City a few weeks back and the modern vibe of the wedding on Saturday, I’m quickly falling in love with modern, city settings!

On a totally different and unrelated note, this is the very last few days that the blog and website will look as they do now. We’re launching the new look AND our promo film (by our friends Three Fifteen Design and Josh Gooden, respectively) at a party on Thursday evening, then we’re having a “virtual party” with the rest of the world on Friday! I’m seriously so excited about it, but it’s a little bit bittersweet because I’ve loved this brand so much! Just thinking about how much my business has grown since it’s initial launch almost three years ago makes me a little nostalgic! Thank you to all of you who’ve followed along over the past few years….you are the best!
