I won’t lie to you guys. As I went through my archives to pick out my favorites from this past year, I started to get a little bit emotional. These images aren’t just my work or my portfolio. They’re not just pictures that my clients will frame or bind into albums. They’re memories.
My clients are not just clients, they are my friends. They’re my cheerleaders, my support system and the reason I do what I do. They’re SO MUCH MORE than clients or customers, they’re people I have come to care about very much. So when I look back at these images I don’t see technical stuff, I don’t see what aperture I used or what lens I had on my camera. I don’t look at them and remember how badly my feet hurt at the end of the night or how tough it was to get portraits done before it got dark. When I look at these images I see people that I love and am grateful to know. I see moments that I will remember for the rest of my life. I see joy and goodness and lots of love.
In no particular order, here are a few of my very favorite images from 2012!
