This weekend was such a fun one! Since John and I have been together we’ve spent our Thanksgivings in Maryland with his family. It’s always so much fun to catch up with everyone, eat way too much, and shop our faces off on Black Friday! This year was no different…I ate so much all weekend I’m going to need a weeks worth of salads and veggies to catch up on all the nutrients I probably missed out on while I was eating junk food! Still, it was so worth it:) And I mean, I’m training for a marathon. Which means I should be carb loading. That’s a good excuse right??

On Sunday we wrapped up our weekend by shooting a session for Maureen and her husband Sergio! They are the sweetest two people and so photogenic!

I’m really excited about this week because since Thanksgiving is over and it’s officially December it means I can decorate for Christmas and bake cookies without feeling bad about it! I’m looking forward to decorating a tree, listening to Christmas music on vinyl, and drinking mugs and mugs of hot chocolate…possibly with Baileys or Kahlua mixed it. Sounds like a perfect way to spend an afternoon! We’re also going to be celebrating the fourth annual “Nesbitt Post Thanksgiving Feast” this week. Since we go out of town for the holiday every year, when we get home I cook a big Thanksgiving meal for us to share so we can enjoy the real best part of the holiday…leftovers!
