Emily and James recently moved to Richmond, so having their engagement session downtown seemed like the perfect fit for them! I think these sessions become even that much more special when we choose a location that has some kind of special meaning. They become not just engagement photos, but also serve as a reminder of a certain time in your life together! I love that their session will commemorate this new adventure in their lives together!

We started their session at Main Street Station downtown which seemed fitting since throughout the course of their relationship both Emily and James spent a lot of time taking Amtrak to visit one other!

It was maybe a billion degrees during our time together, but you can’t tell at all by looking at them! Enjoy a few of my favorites 🙂
