I will admit that I have been kind of apprehensive about all of the traveling I’m doing this spring/summer. Most of my couples live at least two hours away from me, and a few of them, like Allie and Greta, live even farther away. I think I was nervous that traveling to a lot of different places for engagement sessions (and then weddings!) wouldn’t really be fun…but it has been so amazing! This past weekend John and I drove out to the northern part of the Eastern Shore to shoot Allie and Greta’s engagement session on the Chesapeake Bay.  Greta works for a cute little B&B and marina and they spend a lot of their time out there on their own boat, so it was only natural that we shoot there!

Allie and Greta are both naturals at boating! I could tell they both feel so at home when they’re on the water together. They made John and I feel so at ease even though neither one of us can actually swim and had never really been on a boat before! Seeing how sweet they are together and getting to know them a little bit made me so excited for their wedding! September can’t get here fast enough:)
