Ever since becoming friends with dear Brandi after a calligraphy workshop back in 2015, I’ve been looking forward to working a wedding with her! We finally had the chance to do so at Rachel and Ben’s big day this past weekend! This was such a fun wedding to be a part of…Brandi, along with Rachel and her mom, Tricia, planned out an elegant event where all of the little (and big!) details came together so beautifully! I personally LOVED how the reception decor came together…Pantone’s color of the year this year was “Greenery” and it was SO beautifully done by Palette of Petals!!

All of the beautiful details aside, my two favorite moments from this wedding were these:

Looking at Ben as he watched Rachel walk down the aisle and seeing him tear up as his beautiful bride made her way toward him! And this was after their First Look, too!! 

At the anniversary dance at the reception, DJ Danny kept calling out couples who had been married 10, 20, 25 years to leave the dance floor…I’ve NEVER been to a wedding where there were so many couples who had been married 25-30 years! I was so impressed and so touched by this!

And, although the rain made things tricky for us at the beginning of the day, we were treated to a beautiful sunset by dinner time!!
