(Oh man, I’m so excited to introduce you guys to Molly Stillman of Still Being Molly! Her blog is one of my favorite reads because Molly is so sweet, funny, and down to earth! She has the best sense of style and she is a master at putting together cute outfits without spending a ton, which I really appreciate! Hope you enjoy her guest post today!)

Hey Katie Nesbitt fans! My name is Molly from still being [molly] where I blog about fashion, food, faith, and fawesome. I am SO excited to be guest posting for the uber FABULOUS Katie today while she’s at WPPI! Seriously, I was honored that she asked me.

But, let’s admit it ladies, one of the most stressful things about attending a wedding is figuring out what in the world to WEAR.

Well, I’ve hopefully got some inspiration for you to cover you for ANY type of wedding during this 2013 spring and summer. 🙂

FIRST: The Classic Outdoor Wedding

I love this first blue chevron dress and is one of my go-tos for outdoor weddings. First, it’s lightweight, so it doesn’t get too hot. Second, I love the bold print. Who says you have to be boring at a wedding? This is your time to dress up and have fun! And third, it’s versatile – add in a statement necklace for extra pizzazz (yes, I just said pizzazz) or toss on a jean jacket for an even more casual look for that backyard BBQ wedding.

SECOND: The Black-Tie Formal Wedding

Those more formal, black-tie weddings are some of the most fun, but also some of the most difficult to dress for. I love this dress because the full a-line skirt is such a classic look that’s not only flattering on ANYONE, but also fancy at the same time. AND the funky print still keeps it modern.

THIRD: The Trendy Wedding

Everyone has that friend that throws the unique or “trendy” wedding. There is nothing traditional about this wedding and you know that going into it. So, as a guest, why should your outfit be “traditional” or “safe”? Throw on a super funky print dress like this one and you’ll certainly fit in. Want to jazz it up even more? Throw on a lace blazer to really pull the look together.

FOURTH: The Classic + Traditional Wedding

Then there’s the wedding that is as traditional as can be. You know these weddings going into them – there isn’t going to be one element of surprise. The bride and groom love tradition and so a simple, classic look is going to be a guest’s best bet. And how can you go wrong with a classic little black dress? You can’t. BUT, want to still keep it modern? Throw on a statement necklace. Trust me, you won’t regret it. 🙂

And then, of course, there are the dresses that can literally fit ANY wedding and ANY occasion.

Here are a few examples:

SPEND OPTION (middle):
ModCloth BB Dakota When The Night Comes Dress – $99.99
SAVE OPTION (right):
Dorothy Perkins Floral Lace Tulip Dress – $35

These dresses could literally fit any theme, any setting, any type of wedding. The rustic chic wedding? Throw on some boots and a jean jacket with these dresses. The formal wedding? Throw on a blazer. The sky is the limit!

Well, I hope y’all were able to get some good inspiration for those weddings you’re headed to this year. And I’d love for you to stop by my little corner of the internet some time.

Thank you SO much, Katie, for having me today!
