After meeting online, moving to New York (and then back to DC) together, and many other adventures in between, Heidi and Joe were finally married at King Family Vineyards earlier this month!! Being a part of their wedding day was so much fun for me because I could see not only their visible excitement about finally getting married, but also that of their friends and family! It was truly a day filled with lots of things that the best weddings are full of…lots of laughs, a few happy tears, and full glasses of wine.

This was my third time photographing a wedding at the always beautiful King Family Vineyards, but I loved getting to experience this beautiful place in the winter time! There was something so magical and golden about the light that made up for the wind and frozen fingertips. I also really loved working with some of my favorite vendors, Amanda Burnette (one of my past brides!), having my 2017 bride Sarah assist, and seeing my 2013 bride Ann Carlisle!!
