From the first time I started emailing with them, I couldn’t wait to meet Shea and Josh! They seemed so laid back and nice! We were finally able to meet in person the day before the wedding for their engagement session! We had talked about doing the session in the evening, but since we wanted to shoot on the beach (on the first day of summer no less!) we decided that a sunrise session would be better. I’m so glad that we did!! I’ll admit I was a little nervous about it since it was the first time I was meeting these two and it was so early (who does a sunrise session on the LONGEST day of the year??) but it went so well! Shea and Josh were such a dream to work with and I kept getting so excited about the wedding the next day as I was shooting them! They are seriously one of the easiest couples to work with! They got up at 3am for our session and still managed to look amazing!!

Okay, 1. The colors in this are TOTALLY dreamy. The browns, whites & pinks look like sand/shells. so pretty. 2. Her shirt is amazing and I love it. 3. I REALLY LOVE the idea of doing photos the day before the wedding. That is such a special and important time for a couple- glad they could take some time out and spend it together.

Sunrise is my favorite, and sunrise on the beach of my FAVORITE kind of morning! Since we’re not on the coast it’s a rare treat that I get to shoot at dawn on a beach, but it’s so beautiful!
