It poured buckets (and I mean BUCKETS) all day, beginning with a crazy storm early that morning that led to a flood that John and I are still recovering from. Not exactly what every bride wants to wake up to on her wedding day. Though the weather was awful, you would never know it to look at Melissa. Where a normal bride’s reaction (okay my reaction) to the rain might have been to freak out, Melissa stayed cool and relaxed the entire day! There was only ONE THING on her mind…marrying the love of her life! I kept hearing her say things like “I’m just so happy!” and it made me so glad to be there that day!
First look time! This was so sweet…they both teared up!
One of the best parts of doing a first look…extra portrait time!! Since it rained all day we had to sneak in portraits when we could!
Reception time! Stevenson Ridge is seriously an AWESOME venue!
Melissa and Chris set up a display of family wedding gowns at the reception! Loved this!

Oh my gosh Katie, these are amazing!! Every wedding you do I have a new favorite and I think it can’t be beat, then the pictures just keep getting better and better! This looks like a fun great couple and you caught sooo many good shots of them! I love seeing each of your shoots on here!
