Would it be terrible to admit that I really get excited about the workshop styled shoots and that I secretly style them based on things I really want to shoot myself?? I mean, I always feel like if it’s something I’d really like to shoot, other people probably would too! The shoots are one of the best, most unique parts of the workshop and I am so proud of all three of them. (See the first and second) I worked with Natalie of Designed Perfectly Events again to create this shoot. She’s so wonderful! I wish I had her on my wedding day! Since the last workshop happened in December, we decided to make the theme “New Year’s Eve”! It was a lot of fun thinking up ideas for a glam wedding that still had lots of colors and textures. I loved what Natalie came up with!
The icing on the cake was our models, Jennifer and Jasen. They’re both so photogenic! You’ll see what I mean! And, they got engaged a few weeks before the workshop, so having a group of excited photographers posing and instructing them was perfect practice for their wedding day. They were naturals!
I’m so excited that the shoot was published by Inspired by This! You can see their full feature here. The following are a few of my favorite images from the shoot. For a full list of vendors, please scroll to the end!
