I think one of the best things about my job as a photographer is that I’ve made so many amazing friendships through connecting with people either through my work or theirs. I’m not really into networking in the traditional sense (meaning I don’t want to spend a lot of time “networking” or schmoozing with people to see what I can get from them or how they can help my business), instead I prefer to build my relationships the way that I would any other relationships in my life…by making friends with people I genuinely like and care about.
Tina is one of these people! She and I first connected via the internet a little over a year ago. Since then we’ve worked on a couple projects together (Tina is a talented graphic designer) and become friends! Tina and her husband Mo were kind enough to invite us to stay with them while we were in town to shoot their session and a couple others. Sunday morning we got up early and braved the chilly weather to shoot their session in Old Town Alexandria. I loved shooting their dog Rocco! He is such a sweetheart that I wanted to steal him and bring him home with me!!
Tina, Mo, and Rocco, it was such a treat to spend the weekend with you guys and to take some portraits for you!
These are beautiful!! You look gorg, Tina!! Amazing job as always, Katie!! xo
Such a cute dog! I really like her outfit too! 🙂 My favorite is him kissing her forehead with the ivy in the background. So nice!
