It’s the last Monday of October and the last thing I ever expected to be doing was riding out a hurricane! I can’t remember the last time that one hit so late into the season. It’s just fine with me though, I need a day to relax and get some rest:)

This past weekend was another busy, but fun one! I went to northern Virginia to second shoot for my good friend Annamarie. It was such a great time! Her couple was so sweet and the hurricane held off JUST LONG ENOUGH for some beautiful portraits! I just love shooting when it’s overcast…the light is SO LUMINOUS. I’ll be taking the rest of the day off to relax and enjoy some Netflix and non perishable treats with John and Lucy, but I hope the rest of you stay safe in the storm!
