It was my first Saturday without a wedding in weeks and I was going through withdrawls! I felt like I had somewhere I was supposed to be, but wasn’t there! It was like one of those nightmares I have when I dream I’m late to a wedding or showed up without my camera! Luckily Tierney and Asad’s engagement session was scheduled for that same afternoon, because I didn’t know what to do with myself! We met up in Richmond to shoot their session amid the gorgeous fall foliage all over Belle Isle and the surrounding downtown area. Richmond is already one of my favorite places to shoot, but add in the incredible colors of all of the changing leaves and the gorgeous light, and I was in heaven! I think the light is so magical this time of year, and after quite a few of my fall sessions and weddings having clouds overhead, the sun and all of that pretty, glowy, warm light melted my heart!

Tierney and Asad were SO much fun to hang out with and I know their June wedding is going to be an absolute blast!! I can’t wait for it to get here already!!
