When I first started hearing people say there was supposed to be a big snowstorm this past weekend I had a mini freakout and started crossing my fingers that it wasn’t supposed to hit Virginia because I knew Robin and Patrick had planned a beautiful wedding at the Lesner Inn catering club AND a lot of their guests were traveling from out of town for the big day. Luckily the storm didn’t show itself in Virginia at all and we had a perfectly sunny day to work with instead! And even though it was pretty chilly out with the wind and everything, Robin and Patrick (and their awesome bridal party!) were troopers and we did all of their portraits outside! Robin even walked across a busy road, through a big grassy area, and onto the beach in HEELS!

It was such an honor to be apart of this sweet couple’s day…there wasn’t a second when I didn’t feel how much these two loved each other!

We started our day out at the oceanfront Sheraton in Virginia Beach…

Their first look is going to go down in history as one of my favorites! They both teared up! (I might have too…shhh)
