John and I love nothing more than unwinding  in front of the TV after a long day watching something funny and eating a nice dinner. Lately we’ve been catching a couple of episodes of Modern Family on Blu Ray almost nightly. Every. Single. Episode. is hilarious!! If you haven’t seen Modern Family, it’s a faux documentary type show (sort of like the office or Parks and Rec) about a blended “modern” family. I think what I like most about the show is how positive it is. It’s funny and smart without being trashy or mean spirited. And with a billion channels with things like Gypsy weddings (guilty pleasure) and Jersey Shore, it’s nice that there are still shows that I could watch with my own parents without it feeling really awkward or embarrassed by my generation…(you know what I’m talking about).

So this month I have decided to give away a copy of Season One on Blu Ray! It’s that time of year when TV shows are all on their hiatus and there isn’t much to watch. It’s also been CRAZY hot outside lately and when the temps are in the triple digits there isn’t much better than chilling inside with the AC full blast  with a DVD and a beer.
