When Amanda started her business earlier this year, she and I decided earlier this year we wanted to put together a bright and colorful summer themed shoot inspired by some of our favorite things…namely tiny pies, pancakes, and gold! We are both huge fans of handmade weddings, so nearly everything in this shoot was made by us (most of it was made by Amanda, but I’m proud to report, I sewed the napkins and made the bride’s bouquet!). The majority of the other items were found or thrifted by Amanda (the thriftiest thrifter!). This entire shoot is really a testament to her skill as an event designer! Her vision came together SO beautifully…shooting it was a photographer’s dream! I’m SO excited what she comes up with for Ann Carlisle and Ryan’s wedding this fall!
We are so excited that this shoot was recently picked up by the wedding blog, 100 Layer Cake!
Special thanks to our friend Alisandra Photography for modeling!
