I have been wanting to do some type of family feud reference on the blog FOREVER…and today’s the day! WOO HOO!! Okay, okay, I’m kidding. Or am I?  Joking aside, I just wanted to start by saying I’m so thankful to everyone who completed the survey! Since I’ve never done one before I wasn’t really sure what kind of feedback I would get…would people say mean things and leave really negative feedback? Or maybe people wouldn’t answer at all? But I was really worried for no reason because I got some really great feedback that I’m ready to start using to improve the blog this year:) Thank you, thank you, thank you if you filled it out!  In case you were interested, here are a few of the results!

I started blogging every day Mon- Friday a while back as a personal challenge to get consistent with my blogging and I’m really happy to see that people are starting to expect to see new posts from me every day! The one biggest key to getting people to check out your blog regularly is consistency!!

These answers were pretty helpful. I obviously blog all the weddings and engagements I can possibly add (this year you’ll have more!!! I booked four more weddings so far this year than I did last year HOLLA!!) so I’m mostly looking at the other posts that you guys love and how I can add more things along those lines. What’s really interesting here though is how people are so split on the Instagram Review. The same amount of people that said they loved it, said it was their LEAST favorite…I don’t know what that means! I like doing the instagram reviews for myself though so I think for now I’m going to keep doing them. Maybe I can change them up a little bit though to make them more interesting? Thoughts??

Some more interesting results! I definitely wouldn’t have thought that my For Photographers posts were so favored by people…or my DIY projects either! To be honest, you haven’t seen as many DIY projects because quality projects I feel are blog worthy are hard to put together, time consuming, cost me money, and are hard to do/photograph at the same time…that being said, I do have a few projects up my sleeve! I promise DIY posts won’t go away completely. Maybe I can share DIY projects other people have done too? SUGGESTIONS WELCOME.

Lucy is going to be so disappointed! Only 28 percent of people who read the blog are cat people! Sadness.

Thanks again if you did the survey!! There are so many helpful comments for me to still go through and analyze, but I also wanted to say that I really love and appreciate the people who wrote something encouraging or sweet in the comment box! Sometimes it’s hard to blog every day and put myself out there and wonder if people even care/want to read the blog…so the words of encouragement mean so much!
