For the rest of the month I really want to take time on Thursdays to think about things that I’m thankful for and share some of them on the blog!
This week I’m thankful for: Quality time with John, Netflix, and Jack Bauer!
A little while after we first started living together, John and I decided Wednesday nights would be our “date night”. We aren’t always strict about it, and sometimes we skip it to do other things, but for the most part we spend Wednesday nights doing something together! Usually our dates are things like going to a cheap weeknight movie or getting something to eat at Jason’s Deli or Panera, but sometimes we will splurge and do something exciting like Busch Gardens for the evening. Now that it’s getting colder and darker and more and more unpleasant to be outside, we have been looking for ways to do indoor date nights that are inexpensive and Netflix has been our best friend!
We just started watching 24 together…and we’re both completely addicted! I’m not sure who I’m more impressed by…the Taken dad or Jack Bauer. What do you think??

jack bauer ALWAYS wins. girl. i am so glad y’all are into the show! 24 is my favorite show of all time (along with LOST… but that’s it) i’ve watched every season MULTIPLE times. in fact, husband and i just finished re-watching season 4 last week!
Liam Neeson TOTALLY tops Jack Bauer. Partially because he’s Irish, and partially because he acted out of protection for his daughter which makes him SUPER Dad. And family is the best.
Quality time with the husband is the best time.

gawwwwgeous dahling, i cannot wait to see more! Also, watching shows together is so fun. I can’t wait until Andrew and I can watch shows together in the SAME ROOM instead of watching netflix while videochatting from across 3 states. yes, we do that. 😛 yay thankful thursdays!
