Ah, and so another weekend comes to an end. And not only does another weekend end, but so does my first full season as a wedding photographer! As I took my last shot on Saturday night I was feeling such a rush of emotions. I’m still not completely sure that I’m ready to blog about how I feel about this amazing (and overwhelming at times!) this year has been, so I’ll spare you the details til I can collect my thoughts.

Saturday: Hayley and Graham were married!! These two were so sweet together and so happy! I loved how intimate and classic their wedding was…it was truly a reflection of their personalities!

Sunday: Five mile run. If you follow any wedding photographers on Facebook or Twitter, you may have heard of a thing called “the post wedding hangover”. I promise you, these hangovers ARE NOT (at least not in my case) from drinking alcohol like a typical hangover…they’re that hit by a bus feeling you get when you wake up the day after shooting a wedding for 8-12ish hours. Somehow I decided it was a good idea for John and I to run five miles Sunday morning…to beat the post wedding hangover if you will. Well, I think it worked! I didn’t have too much soreness, though I was pretty tired most of the day.

ALSO, I shot part two of Amber and Robert’s engagement session yesterday…I can’t wait to share more of these on the blog tomorrow!
