Is it just me, or does it seem like weekends are going by faster and faster? This one was no exception!

Friday I met up with a 2013 bride in Richmond. I just love my brides and the fact that they love photography so much!! This meeting made me so excited for next year! The only downer was the parking ticket on my window when I left. I actually didn’t even notice it until I drove all the way through Church Hill and got back onto the interstate. So sad! It’s my first parking ticket:(

Saturday, I drove out to Colonial Beach to shoot a BEAUTIFUL wedding. I have to say, the drive to Colonial Beach is so pretty and scenic during the day, but it is just a little scary driving back at night on one lane roads with deer peeking out at you. It was worth it though, because Maralisa and Elliot were amazing, and so was their wedding!

I think that I’m either going to have to start running again OR just get used to the idea of being ten pounds heavier…COOKOUT OPENED IN NEWPORT NEWS. Yes. I went by on Saturday night on my way home from the wedding, and the line was out INTO JEFFERSON AVENUE. I ended up going inside instead of trying to wait in the drive through line, and it was packed in there! Packed! This was around midnight. The only non bar places I’ve ever seen that packed so late are Waffle House and Club Walmart (the ghetto walmart in Hampton).

Sunday was the best day. It was the most boring, relaxing, quiet day you could imagine. We grocery shopped, watched football, caught up on some netflix, and ate lots of comfort food. The only thing that took away from this amazing day was discovering that Trader Joe’s has DISCONTINUED my favorite pizza! Seriously devastating news! Where else can I get a flatbread pizza with red potatoes, Gruyere, and uncured bacon? It’s not like they have this at Papa John’s:(  Other than that awful news, Sunday was just what I needed. I haven’t had an entire day off in a few weeks now and it was really starting to affect me. A couple times yesterday I went into my office to check emails and cull through some images, but John came in and made me go back to the couch. I am so thankful to have someone who knows what I need (time off) and makes sure I get it. Everyone needs someone like that in their life!
