Engagement sessions are such an important part of what I do, mostly because they give me the opportunity to get to know my couples a bit better before their weddings! I use this time to watch how they interact together and to figure out what things works best for them photo wise.  In exchange, they receive some amazing images that will always serve as a reminder of this exciting time in their lives!

2018 was full of some really fun shoots and locations, including several I’d never been to before. I went all over Virginia, Maryland, and DC this year! Looking back through the images I captured last year makes me feel a little nostalgic, but also really accomplished and excited for a new year of sessions. Hopefully 2019 is just as wonderful as 2018 was 🙂
