A Case of the Mondays #57

Is it just me, or is anyone else sad about the weather forecast this week? After a gorgeous weekend with a little preview of what’s to come this spring, I’m having a hard time dealing with the fact that the temperatures are going to be back in the 40s this week!

John and I had a great weekend! We started out by heading out of town to celebrate a good friend’s birthday on Friday night. Then we ended up in Charlottesville, where I met with potential clients, and we got to wander the adorable outdoor mall area. I just love Charlottesville…don’t you guys? I could see myself living there one day raising a bunch of babies and cats. I don’t know if I could see myself running there though…I kept seeing all of these steep hills and thinking to myself, whoa, that looks rough.

Here are my instagrams from the weekend!

I am actually really excited/nervous today because my very last “long” training run before my marathon is tomorrow!! 22 miles! It’s funny that at this point in training, anything less than 13 miles feels like a piece of cake.  And last August I could barely run 3! So sorry I’m not sorry for being really excited about it:)

Goals for this week:

– Print and organize 2014 client contracts. They’re already saved on my computer, but I like having hard copies too.
– Start working on updates to my client lounge
– Preblog for next week.
– Pack for WPPI (!!!!)

I totally feel you with this weather- its so depressing! 22 is absolutely amazing!! I am barely making it 3 now! 🙂

  6. We definitely share the C-ville obsession. It’s one of our favorite spots in the USA, along with Williamsburg… but those rolling hills… so lovely!

I went to charlottesville for a math confrence my fiancee was attending and fell in love with it also-it actually reminded me of Savannah a little bit. Charlottesville is a contender to one of the places we might end up moving to-unlike you I am not a runner but a power walker and there are some serious hills! 22 Miles is such an amazing goal-Good Luck!
