A while back I blogged that we were thinking of redecorating our bedroom for the first time. Before this winter, ALL of our bedroom furniture was just a hodge podge of random stuff we each brought into the relationship six years ago when we first moved in together. It was basically more or less a mix of pieces from my childhood bedroom and John’s college dorm. Not exactly adult or married couple furniture. Decorating is also somewhat of a challenge for us right now because we live in a rented apartment. I know we won’t live here forever, so we aren’t yet ready to commit to really expensive furniture and decor pieces that may not fit right wherever we move next. In our “forever” home, I definitely imagine a few things that we can’t really do here, but I also believe in making wherever we live feel as much like “us” as I can! I’m excited to share some of our progress! For me, decor is something that’s always evolving as I find new pieces to mix with what we already own, but I’m really happy with where this room is so far!
