One of the best parts of putting together these recap posts every year is getting to relive the weddings I was a part of. Wedding season is crazy and sometimes feels like a blur, so going back through the images from each wedding is one of my favorite things! It can definitely be hard to narrow down my favorite photos, but I still love diving in and sorting through the past year’s work.

2019 was especially amazing! This was my 9th wedding season since starting my business in 2011. I photographed weddings all over Virginia, DC, and Maryland as usual, but added a new state (New York!) to the list of places I’ve photographed at. One thing I really loved about 2019’s weddings was how sweet and wonderful all of my couples were! I have been lucky to work with some really great people over the years, but 2019’s couples were so amazing! Each couple really trusted my vision when it came to photography and it really paid off with some beautiful images!
