It’s the day before the day before Christmas! I remember hearing this on the radio as a little kid and freaking out inside…IT’S ALMOST CHRISTMAS!!! !!@#!%@#%@! How did that happen? I’m ready. Mostly. I think.

Anyway, I think there comes a point when you’re either ready, or you have to be because you can’t really postpone Christmas. Luckily, we got most of our shopping done somewhat early, and the last things we have left to do are things like baking, buying more snickerdoodle milk (no, I won’t shut up about that stuff) and making sure we watch Home Alone while we still have a chance. So, basically we’re done.

This weekend was freakishly warm, and I was really happy about that on Saturday, which I spent second shooting for one of my favorite friends. It was such a gorgeous day for a wedding! It felt more like it was April than December! On Sunday, we ran errands like an old married couple and then took naps on the couch. My favorite thing about being married is that it means getting to do the most boring stuff with someone who makes it fun 🙂

Today we are going to have a fun date day! I have been looking forward to this week ALL YEAR LONG. John’s vacation from work lasts 12 days and we almost never have time to spend together uninterrupted, so I’m really excited to spend time making lots of fun memories together!
