Although it’s more gray than sunny and summery out today, I’m so excited that Memorial Day weekend has come and gone because that means summer is unofficially here! Summer is my favorite time of year! Memorial Day weekend is always a crazy, jam packed weekend for us, and this year was no different. We kicked off our weekend by playing a makeup game in our adult kickball league (see what I did there?!?) and then on Saturday, I helped my dear friends Serena and Josh at their wedding in Annapolis!

Sunday morning I tackled a workout and then we headed out to Virginia Beach for Rachel and Ben’s wedding at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club! It was our first time shooting in Virginia Beach in quite some time, but I loved working alongside my friend Brandi with As You Wish!! She made sure that the day ran smoothly and that all of the beautiful details were executed perfectly!

You know how Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2017 was Greenery?? This was basically the color scheme of Rachel and Ben’s wedding and they pulled it off so well!! You won’t want to miss their blog post later this week!!

Yesterday, to wrap up the holiday weekend John and I both spent the day cleaning and preparing for the week ahead…exciting stuff, I know. Needless to say, we’re both needing a couple extra cups of coffee this morning…but it’s worth it because this weekend was a blast! Hope that you all had a great Memorial Day weekend too! I’m looking forward to the start of June this week!
