I’ve been shooting weddings for seven years now and have shot at probably over 100 different venues, but this June I got to experience something unique for the very first time! Karen and Dave’s wedding day was on the Cherry Blossom Riverboat based out of Alexandria and I had the honor of photographing it! This was such a neat place to get married and a really fun and memorable experience for their guests.
We started the day photographing the girls getting ready at the Alexandrian hotel and then explored a bit of Old Town for portraits after the first look! Although it looked like the skies were going to open up and unleash a crazy storm at any minute during their ceremony, the bad weather held off until the end of the night.
This was such a fun wedding day to be a part of! I loved the florals by Sweet Root Village and also getting to work with Etc Coordinators for the first time! Enjoy a few of my favorite images.
