We are starting to get to meet a lot of our 2016 couples for their engagement sessions, which is so exciting! It’s always fun to get to meet all of the new people getting married next year, but I was especially looking forward to meeting Lauren and Mike since their wedding day will be on our fifth anniversary! That will actually be the first Saturday since our wedding in 2011 and I think sharing it with them will be so special!

Spending the evening with them was such a treat! I love how these two interact together…joking, laughing, and being silly. Yet, you can still tell they’re absolute sweethearts who love each other dearly. My favorite moment of our time together wasn’t even when we were shooting…it was when Mike walked back to the car for Lauren’s flip flops because her feet were killing her after basically hiking all over Georgetown’s brick sidewalks in her uncomfortable, but cute, heels. That, to me, is true love. The willingness to do whatever you can to make your partner happy!
