One of the biggest compliments you can get as a wedding photographer is when one of your couples refers you to a close friend or family member. Robyn was the maid of honor at our past bride Kala’s wedding, so I was thrilled when she emailed me saying she was engaged and looking for her wedding photographers!

She first reached out more than a year ago about their May 2016 wedding at Hahn Horticulture Garden in Blacksburg at Virginia Tech and after getting to know both Robyn and Nick over the course of the last 16 months or so, I was so excited for their wedding day to finally arrive! I think this will go down as one of my favorites because the entire day was such a sweet, emotional event that felt intimate despite the fact that they had over 100 guests attend. So many happy tears!
