The weather this year has been WILD. We’ve had weeks and weeks of rain (and tons of heat advisories all summer!) which means I’ve unfortunately had to reschedule a lot of sessions. Jen and Sean’s session was pushed back multiple times, but we finally scheduled for a day that looked good when the forecast came out.

As I got closer to King Family Vineyards to start shooting, I noticed a HUGE black cloud overhead and my heart sank. I couldn’t believe it! It looked like it was about to pour at any moment and just as I got off the phone with Jen chatting about a potential plan B, the skies opened up it started storming pretty viciously. I drove through the storm keeping my fingers crossed the storm would pass and luckily, it did!

We were treated to a beautiful evening at King Family! I loved photographing Jen and Sean’s session there and getting to know them a bit better over a glass of wine post photos!! Can’t wait for their May wedding next year…enjoy a few of my favorite images til then!
