This Fall (and really this entire year in general) has been unlike any other since I started photographing weddings 9 years ago. Normally this time of year my schedule is full of weddings and engagement sessions, but this Fall things have been much quieter than usual since many of my 2020 clients moved their events to next year when it will hopefully be safer to have large events again!

It’s been super weird to not be insanely busy during September and October, but the past several weeks have finally brought a return to photographing! This has been really nice and has made things feel a little more normal. And normalcy is definitely welcome right now:)

I just wanted to pop in and let you know that although things have been quieter than usual, I’m still here working hard behind the scenes! Today I’ve got few previews to share of what I’ve been up to and what you can expect to see on the blog soon!

Giovanna and Sy’s Historic Tuckahoe Wedding

Giovanna and Sy’s wedding was my first of 2020! Their wedding at the Historic Tuckahoe was incredibly beautiful. I loved working with this sweet couple!

Laura and Asa are one of my 2021 couples and they are absolutely the most fun and photogenic! We had their session at Meridian Hill Park, one of my favorite DC locations.

I met Kaitlin and David the day before their at home elopement to photograph their bride and groom portraits at a nearby park! I loved that they made time to do this together!

In lieu of engagement photos, Giovanna and Sy opted for a post wedding “bride and groom” session! This is such a great option for anyone who wants additional photos in their wedding attire and it’s such a laid back experience compared to the wedding day since we aren’t working with a structured timeline.
