Can we talk about how crazy it is trying to run a business and move your whole life across town during your busiest time of year? Add to that your husband is still recovering from surgery and you have a very tired Katie! The move is going great, just lots slower and the rain is not helping much! Can someone please apologize to Mother Nature for whatever they did to make her so mad??

This weekend was a true first for us! We photographed Mike and Lauren’s wedding at her aunt’s home in Purcellville on Saturday, which also happened to be our five year anniversary! In five years of shooting weddings, I’ve never shot a wedding on my own anniversary, but it was so much fun (even with all of the rain!). I also couldn’t think of an better couple to share an anniversary with now! 5/21 is an awesome day, guys. Just saying! We also celebrated again on Sunday by going to the Jefferson for brunch and then making an Ikea trip for lots of house things.
