If I could pick a weekend to do over and over Groundhog Day style (or Christmas Every Day style, if you’re a 90’s kid!) I think this past weekend would be a top candidate!! First, I had the best day ever photographing Brianna and Wes at Rust Manor Inn on Saturday. Of course, I love that they’re photographers…and that they’re a (now) husband and wife team too! But I also really love that they are so up for anything and adventurous! If I were to give one single piece of advice to new brides and grooms on how they can get an amazing photography experience, it would be to just be open to whatever and to trust your photographer!!

John and I were both so glad to be a part of Brianna and Wes’ wedding day! Here’s a little peek:

Sunday was also a perfect day! We started the morning with a workout (43 days til Hawaii!!!) and then celebrated our friends and their soon to be family of four at their baby shower. Last, but not least, we capped a long, busy weekend with champagne and a big sushi feast at a favorite all you can eat place nearby. I woke up this morning still a little full…of sushi, and also of happiness! Having the day off yesterday (our first in a few weeks) was just what I needed to get motivated to finish the season out strong. We’ve got two more weddings coming up, and we are so looking forward to celebrating with those couples and wrapping up 2015!

Now, to hit the gym thanks to all of those spring rolls and deep fried sushi rolls I ate last night 😉 Happy Monday, friends!
