Happy Monday! While a lot of people have the day off for the holiday today, I’m busy working in my office. First up on my to-do list was preparing previews from my double header wedding weekend. I was excited for both of these weddings because they were both at “new to me” venues. As great as it is to revisit old favorites, I always love to explore new places!

Rachael and Mike

I started on Saturday with Rachael and Mike at the Tides Inn in Irvington, Virginia. Even the drive to the venue was beautiful, so I knew this was going to be gorgeous!

Ellen and Matt

Sunday I spent the day photographing Ellen and Matt’s intimate wedding at Dover Hall! It was such an incredible location with lots of options for portraits! I felt like I spent the day at Hogwarts or inside an episode of Game of Thrones!

I have a pretty busy week this week (it’s always hectic coming off of a double header!) and I’m rolling into my last two weeks of hard training for my fourth marathon, so if you see me looking a little tired, send a high five my way! Can’t wait to share more from this weekend’s weddings…but in the meantime, look for a new wedding post this week!
