While we were planning our wedding, I had about a thousand little DIY projects going all over the house. Since we’ve been married, I haven’t quite been able to stop making new things! I haven’t wanted to at least….I really love diy projects because I love that you can take ordinary objects and create something fun and unique that can’t be bought in a store AND you can save money. DIY projects appeal to me because of their custom nature…you want a cake stand? You can make one in any color or any style that you please!
That love for projects led me to create a styled shoot based very loosely on one of my favorite movies, 500 Days of Summer. I daydreamed about it for a while and ended up putting together something that is very similar to what I would create if we were to get married all over again!
Special thanks to Tina Tabibi, Annamarie Akins, and Ashley Barnett! Love you girls!
