Sierra Vista Wedding Photos | Sarah and Chris

Weddings

November 14, 2017

Over the past six years I’ve met a ton of really amazing engaged couples and just as many talented wedding photographers. I’ve also been lucky enough to get to call many of them friends.  Sarah started out as an industry friend (she’s a wedding photographer, too!) but quickly became a travel buddy and “regular life” friend. From road tripping to Charleston with her last year, to eating at the world’s best buffet in Vegas with both Sarah and Chris last year, to celebrating my 30th with them on a beer and wine tour of Richmond, we’ve shared a ton of fun times together! When she and Chris got engaged and asked John and I to be a part of their wedding day, we were SO excited. Honored doesn’t begin to cover it. It’s always a huge responsibility to photograph a wedding day, but to work for a fellow photographer is something that makes me feel equal parts thrilled and riddled with anxiety!

Luckily for me, Sarah and Chris are incredibly laid back people. Their main focus on their wedding day was making the most of the time that they had to spend with the people who came from all over to celebrate with them. I never saw either one of them stress out about the possibility of the rain (which ended up holding off until after the ceremony AND all of our outdoor portraits!) or any of the other details of the day. Their wedding ended up being so perfect and so THEM. It was truly an unforgettable experience and the MOST perfect way to end yet another great season!

Enjoy a few of my favorite images and be sure to scroll to the end to see all of the talented vendors who played a part in putting together such a fantastic day!!
