I was so excited to finally get to meet Emilee and Jonathan this weekend in DC at their engagement session! We had to reschedule a couple of times due to the weather (thanks for being so unpredictable, Mother Nature!). I’m glad that we ended up waiting for a nicer day though, because Saturday was so mild and beautiful, especially for December!

Emilee and Jonathan were so much fun to photograph. They were so sweet (and a little silly, at times) together and I could really tell that they’re just so thrilled to be getting married next spring. We met them at the Jefferson Memorial for their session since that was one of their first dates after being long distance for a long time. It’s always so neat to do an engagement session at a location that has special meaning because it makes the photos that much more memorable!
