We go to Las Vegas

Personal

So you remember how in school you had to write about what you did over summer vacation and share it with the class? Okay, okay.  I don’t…I never did that. But this is kind of like that. It’s the blog version of What I Did on Vacation. Otherwise known as share with the internet so they can feel like they went too.

Our trip to Vegas started with a few bumps. Our flight was scheduled for 11:23 out of Norfolk, but it ended up getting delayed. And getting delayed. And getting delayed some more. Once we finally boarded our plane, we were forced to de-plane right before takeoff…apparently there were mechanical errors! It seemed like we were never going to leave Norfolk and we were almost certainly going to miss our connecting flight out of Chicago.

After a mildly awkward interaction with an airline clerk and a run in with an aging celebrity we ended up making it out of Norfolk! Shortly after a quick flight to the Dulles airport we were finally headed to Vegas! Sadly I was “that girl” on both flights. The one with the hacking cough who sounds like she is contaminating everyone on the plane with a virus that is sure to turn everyone into zombies.

It was a long trip, but we finally made it to Sin City!

Hope you enjoyed the look into our time in Vegas! Later this week I will be back with some images from a little day trip we took while we were out there.

HAHA! the guy had a fake gold stuffed dog on a leash and he had a bucket and a sign that said turn me on for a quarter. We put money in and all he did was this little freak out dance and the dog wasnt really in it lol. he was just one of many interesting um CHARACTERS vegas has to offer.

Wow. Until now I never thought of Vegas as an interesting place. You made it look way more appealing to me than any pics I’ve seen before!
