Traveling is one of those things I think everyone loves to do (us included!) but you never have the chance to do it as much as you want to. For us, it seems like we are always so busy during the summer and don’t always have the opportunity to take weekend trips besides the ones specifically to shoot weddings, so when I looked at the calendar and realized we actually had a MAY weekend off, we pretty much jumped at the chance to get out of town for the weekend. We drove out to Montclair, New Jersey to stay with family and then spent Saturday exploring!
For me, the highlight of the trip was Shake Shack (which we went to TWICE…it’s pretty amazing!).
All photos in the post taken by John (except for the one he’s in, obv). I didn’t take any with my digital camera…just my iPhone and my 35mm camera! My new personal project is shooting a couple of frames on film at least once a week and taking my film camera everywhere (most places) I go and then developing a bunch of rolls toward the end of the year. I’m so excited about having a fun little project…especially since shooting film for a bunch of weeks in a row will mean a fun surprise once I get it all processed 🙂
How did you all spend Mother’s day weekend? Hope you are looking forward to this week! I am! Lots of fun packages going out to new KNP friends this week…and two engagement sessions will be coming to the blog!
