Whew. Have you ever heard a wedding photographer say they have a post wedding hangover? Its where you feel like you were hit by a truck the day after the wedding! I actually dont get those much anymore since i started working out this year, but after shooting two double wedding weekends in a row I’m starting to feel it!! Did you guys enjoy your holiday weekend? I might have worked this weekend, but I still had fun! Well, I always have fun when I’m shooting a wedding, but we still made time for downtime in between weddings. We saw Hangover 3 AND the new Star Trek…I wasn’t really expecting much from either, which seems to be the best way to approach a summer blockbuster (less disappointment). I was surprised to find that I really enjoyed both! I LOVED Star Trek. It had everything a good summer movie should have…an exciting plot, characters with good chemistry, action, and some comedy too! I would definitely recommend that one.

It might technically be Tuesday today, but let’s be real…it’s pretty much a Monday. Anyone else struggling to get back into their office after a long weekend away? If I was a coffee person, this morning would be a two cup kind of day. I have tons of office work today… lots to edit! That also means lots to share…and I’m really excited to share both of this weekends weddings with you guys!!

On Saturday Chris and Meagan were married at the amazing Clay Hill Garden Events! I loved all of their fun personal details!

And on Memorial Day, Julia and Sean were married at the Winery at Bull Run! It was so fitting that they chose Memorial Day for their wedding. Sean recently graduated from West Point and Julia’s brother is in the Marines!
