It was the first true chilly morning of the Fall. We bundled up and rode the train into the city with Friday morning commuters. The skies were crystal clear and it was a bright and beautiful start to the day…perfect conditions for a wedding! Annie and Stephanie had flown from their home in Indianapolis to be legally wed in front of the Supreme Court. I say this a lot, but it was truly an honor to be a part of their ceremony! To witness their marriage finally become legal in front of one of the biggest symbols for justice and equal rights was so incredible! They wed beneath the words “Equal Justice Under Law” which are inscribed on front of the building.
