I felt like I had been waiting for Rica and Ian’s wedding day for a long time, but it also seemed like the year and a half or so since I first met them at Barnes and Noble in Norfolk FLEW by. I don’t know how time plays tricks on us like that! How something can seem so long and so short at the same time?? At any rate, I was so happy when Rica and Ian’s day finally arrived. I knew they had been waiting for this day for some time, and that they had been apart a lot due to Ian’s job, so when the day finally came, they were READY to be married and celebrate with all of their friends!

I always say that I have a good time shooting weddings (because it’s true!!) but Rica and Ian will go down as one of my favorite couples to work with! From the time when we showed up until the very end, they both (and all of their friends and family) made it such a fun experience! Their day reminded me how much I really love what I do and how important it is!
